Seeing how much Vietnam and Cambodia have recovered after the wars, Learing about the local people, thier lives, cultures and especially enjoying the charm and beauty of the natural landscapes of the countries. Destinations: Saigon, Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnel, Hoi An with Cooking Class, Hue, Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Siem Reap etc

Day 01 - 2: Australia - Saigon
Welcome at the airport. Saigon city tour includes: former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, History Museum. Visit a lacquer ware factory, Binh Tay Market in the China Town.
 
Day 03: Saigon - Vinh Long (Mekong Delta) – Saigon (B.L.D)

Drive to Cai Be, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Board a sampan for a cruise on the Mekong River and its multiple canals to Vinh Long. Visit Cai Be floating market, an old colonial house, a rice corn factory and taste local specialties for lunch. Return to Saigon.
 
Day 04: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnel – Tay Ninh - Saigon (B.L.D)
Poceed to Cu Chi guerrilla's area and visit the underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of tunnels that were built by the Communist guerrillas during the war. Return to Saigon, then free time for shopping.
 
Day 05 - 06: Saigon - Hoi An – Cooking Class ( B.L.D )
Flight to Danang then proceed to Hoi An by car, on the way stop over to visits Cham Museum where the remaining evidence of the Champa civilisation can be viewed. Walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants' homes, the 400 year old Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An Culture Museum. Transfer to the restaurant joining chef to the market where we will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking. Return to the class for cooking course.
 
Day 07 - 08: Hoi An - Hue  - Hanoi ( B.L.D )
Drive to Hue. Visit Imperial palace – A citadel surrounded by large moats. Visit King Tu Duc, Minh Mang tomb. Enjoy traditional music on Perfume River.  Boat cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda-one of the most beautiful Pagodas in Vietnam built at the end of 16th century. Visit Khai Dinh Tomb. Transfer to airport for a short flight to Hanoi. 
 
Day 09 - 11: Hanoi – Sapa - Hanoi ( B.L.D )
Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Fine Art Museum, Temple of Literature, Lake Of Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. overnight train to Sapa. Trekking to visit some minority villages. Lao Chai – TaVan - Giang Ta Chai and experience daily life of H'mong, Zay, Red Dzao minority group and see the different colourful dresses. Discover the busy market where Red Dao, Black H'mong and other hill tribes converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions. Also visit Cat Cat and Ta Fin. Over night train back to Hanoi
 
Day 12 - 14: Hanoi - Halong  - Hanoi (B.L.D)

Drive through Red River Delta to Ha Long Bay that has more than 3000 islands. Boat cruise on Ha Long bay to visit Thien Cung cave , Dau Go cave, round over Tuan Chau island, Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island and a swim at Titov beach. Fishing, drinking Vietnamese wine. Proceed to visit Tortoise island , Man’s head island, visit Luon cave by a smallbamboo boat. Then move on to Ba Ham lake. Explore Bai Tu long Bay, Teapot island, Chopstiks island , Bai tho  mountain. Return to Hanoi, stop over at Dong Trieu Pottery.
 
Day 15 - 16: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hanoi ( B.L.D )
Proceed to Ninh Binh to visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and Bich Dong Cave known as " Ha Long Bay on the Land". Hoa Lu is former capital famous with Kings’ ancient temples, take a boat ride through the water paddies to visit the mystical caves and grottoes of the area. Free time in Hanoi
 
Day 17 - 18: Hanoi - Siem Reap (B.L.D)
Flight to Siem Reap. Visit Floating Village of Chong Khneans and take a boat trip to Tonle Sap, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephant Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at local restaurant. Move on to Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat and view lovely sunset from Phnom Bakeng.
 
Day 19 – 20 : Siem Reap - Departure ( B )
Free leisure time for shopping, until time to transfer to the airport for flight back to Australia. The journey to Indochina is an ever experience to share with family and friends and to keep it as a special souvenir for a life time.
