Day 01: Australia / Beijing
Depart on your morning flight bound for Beijing, capital of the People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 02: Beijing (B.L.D)
Your day will begin at Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. Next continue to the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years. In the afternoon visit the picturesque Temple of Heaven, built in 1420, where emperors of Ming and Qing would perform rituals essential to the well being of the country, praying to Heaven for good harvests. Enjoy an Acrobatic show in the evening.
Day 03: Beijing (B.L.Dinner Special)
A full-day tour will take in the grandeur of The Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. On the way back to Beijing stop and visit the sacred way, which towards the emperors’ tombs. On your way back to the city, you will have a chance to spot the 2008 Beijing Olympic stadium. This evening, you are invited to a Peking duck banquet.
Day 04: Beijing (B.L)
In the morning you will leave for your Beijing Alleys Tour. Ride in three-wheeled rickshaws through Beijing's quaint alleys experiencing life as a Beijing local. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping and bargaining in the bustling alleys of the Silk Market, where you can pick up amazing bargains on famous brand clothing and silk.
Day 05: Beijing / Xian (B.L.D)
In this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Xian, the city known as one of the seven ancient capitals of China. Upon arrival, visit the Big Goose Pagoda and City Wall built in Ming Dynasty.
Day 06: Xian (B.L.Dinner show)
A full day excursion to the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang guarded by the famous Terracotta Army, 7000 life-size clay statues each individually crafted, complete with chariots and horses. After Lunch visit the Muslim Markets and Mosque. Here you will be able to purchase all sorts of curios and artifacts. In the evening, you will attend a dinner performance of Tang era music and dance at the grand Tang Theater.
Day 07: Xian / Wuhan / Yangtze Cruise (B.L.D)
Today you will fly to Wuhan. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Yichang by coach to board the Five-star Yangtze Cruiser in the evening.
Day 08-10: Yangtze River Cruise (B.L.D)
Enjoy the overwhelming sceneries along the Yangtze River. Cruise to the Upper Yangtze and visit the 230-foot high Gezhouba Dam at Yichang. Cruise through the Xiling Gorge and Wu Gorge, with bewitching Twelve Peaks soaring above. Then continue to Wushan and have a Little boat trip along the Daning River enjoying the magnificent sceneries of Three Lesser Gorges. Your cruise will arrive at Wanxian, a famous mountain town. There you meet the local people and see the real China. (The cruise programs are subject to change due to water levels and Navigation authority advice.)
Day 11: Chongqing / Dazu / Chengdu (B.L.D)
In the morning arrive in Chongqing, depart on a scenic drive to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. On the way you will visit Dazu, which has more than 50,000 stone carvings dating from the 13th -19th century AD.
Day 12: Chengdu / Leshan / Chengdu (B.L.D)
Today enjoy an excursion to Leshan which is 167 kilometers from Chengdu. You will visit the Leshan Giant Buddha, known as the largest stone Buddha in the world (71 meters).
Day 13: Chengdu / Guilin (B.L.D)
Today you will have chance to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Take evening flight to beautiful Guilin. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 14: Yangshuo / Guilin (B.L.D)
Enjoy a day tour to visit the stunning Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill.
Day 15: Guilin / Yangshuo (B.L.D)
Appreciate the beauty surrounding Guilin on your Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. Amazing limestone scenery and villages together with lifestyles along the river. Enjoy lunch aboard river vessel. Disembark at Yangshuo village and complete bargain shopping at colorful markets. Enjoy an evening music performance – Li San Jie Impression.
Day 16: Yangshuo / Guilin / Hangzhou (B.L.D)
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hangzhou known to Chinese as the "Pearl of China", hometown of silk and green tea.
Day 17: Hangzhou (B.L)
Relax on a wonderful cruise of China's most famous lake, West Lake. See the famous Three Pools Reflecting the Moon and Huagang Park. In the afternoon visit the silk museum where you will discover the history and production of silk products. Enjoy a city tour includes visit to the local cultural street – Wushan Road.
Day 18: Hangzhou / Wuzhen / Shanghai (B.L.D)
This morning you will board the bus to Shanghai in the morning, on the way; stop over at Wuzhen, a very famous water-town, which is located in Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province with a history of more than 1,000 years. Of the ancient residential houses, workshops, and stores still standing on the banks of the rivers, 169,600 square meters, accounting for 81.54 percent of the town's total floor area, have remained unchanged, lending an atmosphere of antiquity. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 19: Shanghai (B.L.D)
Today’s tour will bring to visit the magnificent Yu Garden, Bund Area, former French Concession area and Nanjing Road, known as No. 1 Shopping paradise of China. You will get a chance to see the newly developed Pudong area and comprehend the great achievements after China started the Reform & Opening-up policy since 1980’s. You will get the opportunity to visit one of the highest landmark buildings in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower or Jinmao Tower to enjoy a panoramic bird view upon this energetic city.
Day 20: Shanghai (B)
Today you will enjoy your own leisure to explore the city at you own.
Day 21: Shanghai / Australia (B)
Today you will be transferred to airport for your homeward flight.
