Day 01: Australia / Beijing
Depart on your morning flight bound for Beijing, capital of the People's Republic of China. Upon your arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel.
 
Day 02: Beijing (B.L.D)
Your day will begin at Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world. Next continue to the magnificent Forbidden City, home to emperors for over 500-years. In the afternoon visit the picturesque Temple of Heaven, built in 1420, where emperors of Ming and Qing would perform rituals essential to the well being of the country, praying to Heaven for good harvests. Enjoy an Acrobatic show in the evening.
 
Day 03: Beijing (B.L.Dinner Special)
A full-day tour will take in the grandeur of The Eighth Wonder of the World, the Great Wall, built more than 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. On the way back to Beijing stop and visit the sacred way, which towards the emperors’ tombs. On your way back to the city, you will have a chance to spot the 2008 Beijing Olympic stadium. This evening, you are invited to a Peking duck banquet.
 
Day 04: Beijing (B.L)
In the morning you will leave for your Beijing Alleys Tour. Ride in three-wheeled rickshaws through Beijing's quaint alleys experiencing life as a Beijing local. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping and bargaining in the bustling alleys of the Silk Market, where you can pick up amazing bargains on famous brand clothing and silk.
 
Day 05: Beijing / Xian (B.L.D)
In this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Xian, the city known as one of the seven ancient capitals of China. Upon arrival, visit the Big Goose Pagoda and City Wall built in Ming Dynasty.
 
Day 06: Xian (B.L.Dinner show)
A full day excursion to the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang guarded by the famous Terracotta Army, 7000 life-size clay statues each individually crafted, complete with chariots and horses. After Lunch visit the Muslim Markets and Mosque. Here you will be able to purchase all sorts of curios and artifacts. In the evening, you will attend a dinner performance of Tang era music and dance at the grand Tang Theater.
 
Day 07: Xian / Lanzhou (B.L.D)
You fly to Lanzhou on the banks of the Yellow River. A city tour takes us to the White Pagoda Hill with its many pavilions offering views of the Yellow River and the city below. You also visit the Provincial Museum with the world famous Galloping horse, the Five Spring Park, Yellow River Bridge and watermill along Yellow River. Check in to your Hotel.
 
Day 08: Lanzhou / Xiahe (B.L.D)
You travel by coach to Xiahe, in an area known as Little Tibet. Though beyond the boundaries of Tibet proper, Xiahe is the site of a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. The monks will show us around the golden-roofed temples with their rick decorations. You also visit the grasslands to the west of the towns where Tibetan nomands are camped. With luck there will be an opportunity to ride a yak. Overnight is the local best Hotel.
 
Day 09: Xiahe / Lanzhou / Jiayuguan (B.L.D)
You return to Lanzhou via Linxia, a colorful vibrant town whose rich ethnic mix is a legacy of the Silk Road. You can visit the Tomb of the first Arab missionary who brought Islam to China, tour the shops of Beidajie with their carpets, prayer mats, leopard skins, saddles and Baoan Knives. In the evening, you will take soft-sleeper train to Jiayuguan.
 
Day 10 Jiayuguan (B.L.D)
We will arrive in Jiayuguan in the morning, first visit Jiayuguan Pass. It is the first pass at the west end of the Great Wall of China, 6 kilometers southwest of the city of Jiayuguan. Then move on to Suspension Great Wall, 11 kilometers to the downtown Jiayuguan City, the Suspension Great Wall was built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It gets its name because there is a 231 meter long section, with an obliquity of 45 degrees, built onto a 150m high ridge.
 
Day 11 Jiayuguan / Dunhuang (B.L.D)
Take a coach to Dunhuang today. Dunhuang was a strategic post on the Silk Road and frontier town of the ancient. A leisurely day includes visits to Minsha Hill and Crescent Moon Lake set in an amphitheater of sand dunes and has a camel ride. In the evening, you can sample a local snack and a drink at the outdoor cafes in the main streets.
 
Day 12 Dunhuang / Turpan (B.L.D)
You visit Dunhuang's most famous monument-the Mogao Caves, popularly known as "Thousand Buddha Caves". An art gallery in the desert, the walls of the caves are lined with Buddhist frescoes and sculpted figures. It is said to be the finest examples of Buddhist art in the world. Mixing Indian and Chinese styles, they are a remarkable record of Silk Road civilization. Afternoon go on visiting County museum and white horse pagoda. Later board the overnight sleeper train across the desert to Turpan.
 
Day 13: Turpan (B.L.D)
In the morning arrival to the Oasis town of Turpan, famous for its melons and vineyards. Here Marco Polo first encountered spaghetti, an idea he took home to Italy. Today's tour includes visits to the ruined city of Gaochang by donkey cart, and the underground tombs of Astana, the legendary Flaming Mountains, and Bezekly Caves whose walls are adorned with Buddhists frescoes. You will also see the Emin Minaret, one of the finest buildings on the Silk Road. And Karez Well - an underground irrigation system. After dinner you will enjoy Uygur dance performance.
 
Day 14: Turpan / Urumqi (B.L.D)
A short coach journey takes you through the desert to Urumqi, on the way, you will visit the Nanshan Pastures where nomadic tribesmen herd their yaks and sheep. You will have the opportunity to visit a family in their tent for a taste of traditional nomadic hospitality. Check into the local hotel.
 
Day 15: Urumqi (B.L.D)
Morning tour to Heavenly Lake (1.5km drive from Urumqi), it lies on snow-capped Mount Bogda at almost 2000 meters above sea level. The sapphire-blue lake is set in deep slope of pine forests and meadows of wild flowers where Kazak nomads camp. Then continue to Regional Museum.
 
Day 16: Urumqi / Shanghai (B)
Fly to Shanghai, upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.
 
Day 17: Shanghai (B.L.D)
Today’s tour will bring to visit the magnificent Yu Garden, Bund Area, former French Concession area and Nanjing Road, known as No. 1 Shopping paradise of China. You will get a chance to see the newly developed Pudong area and comprehend the great achievements after China started the Reform & Opening-up policy since 1980’s. You will get the opportunity to visit one of the highest landmark buildings in Shanghai, the Oriental Pearl Tower or Jinmao Tower to enjoy a panoramic bird view upon this energetic city.
 
Day 18: Shanghai (B)
Today you will enjoy your own leisure to explore the city at you own.
 
Day 19: Shanghai / Australia (B)
Today you will be transferred to airport for your homeward flight.
 
Day 20: Australia
Arrive home with unforgettable memories.
