PNT terms and Conditions
It is extremely important that you, the client, understand and accept the Terms and Conditions as well as the contents in our website/brochure before you book your tour. By making a booking with PNT Global Tours, it is understood that you understand and agree with the terms and conditions below
RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSIT
At the time of booking, a deposit of $400p.p will be needed, accompanied by a completed booking form. Deposit and booking form must be received by PNT within 7 days of confirmation. Final payment is payable in full 50 days prior to departure, if booking is made within 50 days, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation. If for any reason payment is not received by PNT by the due day, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and then cancellation charges will then be applicable. PNT accepts no responsibility nor liability whatsoever in respect to any payment made by you to our travel agent. Payment is classed as being made when it is actually received by PNT. There is no surcharge for deposit payment done by Credit Card. However, there is a surcharge of 2% - 3% that will apply if full/final payment is done with Credit Card, and you will be informed upon request.
CANCELLATION OR REFUND
The following cancellation fees or refund shall apply if the client for any reason cancels any booking
Between 30 – 40 days prior to departure: $100 of deposit
Between 15 – 29 days prior to departure: forfeit the total of the deposit
Between 0 – 14 days prior to departure, no refund will apply
International airfare cancellation fees imposed will be subject to airline Tariff Regulations for the international portions of any flight. No funds are available after commencements of the holiday for unused tickets, vouchers or any other services no utilised
ITINERARY AND ACCOMMODATION
On occasion it may be necessary to amend arrangements due to operational necessity and we reserve the right to do so at any time (i.e. due to airline rescheduling flight departures so they may not suit arrangements on the ground). Most of these changes are very minor but are where necessary we undertake to inform you either directly or through travel agency. If your itinerary needs to be altered for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to vary your itinerary. If the variations are materially different from your requested itinerary you reserve the right to withdraw from your holiday and PNT will refund all the monies received from you. We recommend you have your travel agent (if applicable) inform you at all times of changes to your itinerary
TOUR PRICE
Prices on our website are based on Tariffs and rates of exchange at the time of publication and are quoted in Australia dollars. All prices are subject to currency fluctuation and changes of service provider Tariffs. PNT will contact our clients or travel agents to advise any changes of price. We do not accept any responsibility if your travel agent fails to pass our price change information on to you. We reserve the right to change tour prices at any time
GROUP DEPARTURE
All holiday prices are quoted on the basis of a minimum number of 10 adults travelling together with twin share accommodation basis as stated on each tour. Should the minimum number not be met, PNT reserves the right to cancel, amend or re-cost the tour. In such cases, we will endeavour to provide our clients with the best possible alternative or amended tour, or ask for payment of a very reasonable surcharge. If PNT cancels the tour altogether, all received tour cost monies will be refunded in full
SINGLE TRAVELERS
If single travel is requested, it must be done at the time of booking and PNT will endeavour to match the client with a suitable person for the tour duration. If no match can be made, a single supplement fee will be payable to PNT. Single supplement fee will be payable by all clients who choose to travel on tour with single traveller arrangements
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport (your departure date has to be at least 6 months valid before the expiry date in passport). PNT accepts no responsibility of the client failure to obtain appropriate documentation. On request PNT may assist you to obtain entry visa to the country of intended entry. You may also ask your travel agent to assist in this matter. Extra visa application fees may be charged for clients who not holding an Australian passport.
FORCE MAJEURE
Compensation payments do not apply where performance of our contract with you is prevented by risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
It is the client’s responsibility to avail themselves with information regarding health requirements in the intended country of entry. You should speak with your local GP or department of health about health recommendations.
INSURANCE
At the time of booking, tour participants must obtain the appropriate travel insurance policy of your choice, including cover against tour cancellation as recommended by PNT or your travel agent
COMPLAINTS/CLAIMS
Should any client make a complaint or claim about the service of the tour, this must be lodged 30 days after the completion of the tour, in writing and sent by fax, land mail or e-mail to our office in Sydney. PNT will not be held liable for any claims lodged after 30 days from the tour completion
ITEMS NOT INCLUDED
Items of personal nature such as incidental hotel charges, telephone calls, room services and the like are at your own expenses and must be paid prior to checking out of each hotel. Tour costs quoted excludes items not specifically referred to in the tour description including, but not limited to: Travel Insurance, airport taxes, airport construction taxes, excess baggage charges, portage, travel arrangements to and from home town and departure city, items of personal nature such as laundry, dry cleaning, beverages, incidental expenses, optional tours/upgrades offered by local agents, meals (where not specified) & internet charges
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Except for the extent that the law imposes a non-excludable liability: All bookings for holidays with PNT are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by service providers used in each tour programme.
During compilation of our e-brochure and price list PNT used information provided by its service suppliers. PNT to the best of its ability endeavoured to ensure that all such information was correct at the time of issuing/printing. PNT accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage, delay, injury, inconvenience, accident, expense or negligence due to inaccuracy or arising out of provision of services or failure to provide services
PNT will be exempt from any liability in respect to any event, loss, omission, death, accident, injury, negligence act, detention, diversion, sicknesses or whatsoever, however and by who ever
PNT accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, accident, detention or theft in regard to personal belongings and luggage.
The clients accept that PNT shall not be claimed against should any carrier or service provider provide services that differ in anyway from the itinerary described in our e-brochure. PNT accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses caused by the delay in the provision of services by service providers. PNT accepts no responsibility for changes or withdrawal of services by service providers.
LAW OF CONTRACT
Any contract arising with the client shall be governed by the law of the State of New South Wales and any legal action arising there from shall be litigated only in the appropriate court having jurisdiction in that state |
